Taiji Quan

Unlike other teaching methods, such as individual lessons, master classes, seminars and workshops, the regular classes format does not imply an explanation of new material. The task of regular classes is, first of all, to adjust and maintain the right rhythm in the trainees, which allows them to gain new experience in their practice.

A lot has been said about the art of Taiji Quan, yet whatever you believe, there is one reality, and it is described in Chen Xin’s book The Illustrated Canon of Chen Family Taijiquan, which presents knowledge about the development of Taiji Quan in thirteen formulas. This book presents the tradition of the Chen family, which dates back to the time of the legendary founder of this dynasty, Chen Bu, who was born in the 14th century. However, the book also connects us with the knowledge of the great Daoist, the immortal Zhang Sanfeng, who created the matrix of Taiji.

What is most valuable in Taiji Quan today is the knowledge of how to strengthen the bone marrow using the Lao Jia form (the old form). This is a profound geometric art, which in fact stands higher than any of the fictional applications or fighting properties attributed to it. Although, of course, the development of the Shen energy (which is precisely connected with the bone marrow) makes Taiji Quan an unsurpassed art.
