Bagua Zhang
Program
Baguazhang is an amazingly effective frame of reference for those who seek development in the tradition of Taoist alchemy. This is the core of movement-related Taoist knowledge. Apart from incorporating the most important alchemical knowledge related to movement, the baguazhang system is also the science of harmony. This is why, Baguazhang is the basis of the method for human development.
Despite the many existing types and conceptualisations of this system, it has a singular basis originating from the concepts of I Ching (Book of Changes) and the Steps of Yu system. This makes Bagua Zhang a practical art for harmonious development.
The current program presents the fundamental knowledge of Bagua Zhang – “The Teaching of Harmony”. The main task here is to use the practice to build an understanding of the centre – which is vital for comprehending the doctrine of harmony.
