Wang Chong

Wang Chong is the Daoist name of Vitruvius, also known as Alexey Khomyakov. Like his eloquent namesake, the Chinese materialist philosopher, Alexei is a master of movement design, an architect of movement who received his knowledge from the Daoist alchemist Jie Kong. Wang Chong possesses a unique knowledge of geometry and the alchemy of movement and is one of the few masters in the Western world capable of teaching the doctrine of cultivating the Yellow and White in movement, the Daoist concept of transformation.

Some go to the top with quick steps, relying on their nature, skipping, and not knowing the reality of this top, while others monotonically, step by step comprehend the great art. This is the kind of measure that Wang Chong (Vitruvius) moves with, translating his practice into an experience of being filled with inner work. With all his appearance he demonstrates that mastery is about dimension and consistency, about knowing tradition and method. One gets the impression that once he has begun a form of movement, he continues it, stretching it throughout his life.

For 25 years, Wang Chong has become a real Daoist master who demonstrates inner effort with every movement. By changing the geometry, or if you will, the design of his body, today he has become an architect of knowledge, especially that which relates to the geometry of movement.

In this respect, Wang Chong is undeniably of great value to the people he teaches. With twenty years of experience under the world’s leading masters, he himself has become a real master in the sense of someone who understands what he is doing and why.

Wang Chong’s main value is that he clearly follows the line of knowledge and is a real guardian of tradition. Today, when tradition in teaching is disappearing irrevocably, the ability to preserve the method and rhythm of proper teaching is already becoming a great art. Wang Chong has mastered this art while continuing to build his capacity, experience, and knowledge.
