Da Vinci (Daniel Ivanov)

Practical experience — since 1998

Da Vinci (Daniel Ivanov)’s interest in practical development dates back to his early years as a student. At the age of 9, being strongly attracted to martial arts, he began practicing judo – one of the few martial arts allowed by the government at the time. He found a teacher with an unusual approach who also introduced him to many additional practices and tried to teach the way they did in some Asian schools. This is when he started studying the basics of yoga, taiji, aikido, taekkyon, zen and developed an interest in Castaneda.

Soon, during a conversation with his Art teacher, he learnt about Chinese medicine and acupuncture. The teacher showed him a few biologically active points. When Daniel returned home, he found his father with a severe headache. He was very surprised and really impressed when the headache quickly disappeared after he pressed the points he had learned about earlier that day. This ignited his interest in this type of treatment, and he read all the materials on the topic he could find.

Later, he took courses in kinesitherapy, and he also studied Chinese medicine with Chinese teachers who came to teach in Bulgaria. After their departure from the country, he was chosen by them to continue teaching in our country.

Daniel’s motto is that “Man is alive while learning”, so he continued to study various methods of treatment and diagnosis such as: iris diagnostics, naturopathy, auriculo diagnostics and treatment, aromatherapy, homeopathy at the College of London, osteopathy and many others. He also kept studying different styles of Chinese, Japanese and other martial arts with different teachers.

In time however he realized that there was something lacking in both martial arts and yoga if he wanted to further improve in his development. Practicing both at the same time, he tried to combine them, but could not achieve the desired effect. He talked to various teachers who told him this was impossible.

Then, in 1998, he came across Oleg Cherne’s first books published in Bulgaria. Its author presented Taoist knowledge and was the only one to discuss the issues that were so important to Daniel. Thus, in 2003 he started practicing at INBI.

“The Development Method taught here combines all sacred knowledge and lets you achieve a tangible practical effect that directly affects your quality of life”, says Daniel. “This Method helps people achieve real development.”
