Amrita breathing
According to the Indian Puranas, the power of Mana (the ether that demigods consumed) permeated the space of the Earth. This power was used by the celestials and the higher fields (other levels of the macrocosm), yet the elixir itself was formed on Earth as a result of an exceptional distillation process. The elixir was obtained from soma, with the use of the Asclepius plant, usually associated with the healing process in ancient times. Asclepius is a power-granting plant and different traditions have their own understanding of its power and application (you can find various examples of its use in different traditions below).
The work with power plants can be compared to the process of obtaining an essential oil, the difference is only in the quality of the plant, the production process and the application. This type of work is influenced by the characteristics of the space and the frequency characteristics of both the Earth itself and those living on Earth, who, according to the legend, were not what we would today perceive as people but rather deities. The very process of obtaining amrita was natural and later became associated with the image of the Churning of the oceans, which in fact reflects the process of fermentation and distillation.
The amrita nectar itself was a vapor, an ether, a process of condensing occurring within another ether. To understand the mechanism of this process, imagine the aroma of an essential oil. If it is obtained according to all the subtle rules of this science, then it has three depths, three efforts. The third is the quality of amrita. Today however the aroma quality is not enough, what is even more important is the ability to inhale this nectar and assimilate it. Over time, this natural skill for assimilating amrita was lost, as a result of the general weakened state of space and the insufficient inner work of the glands within the human organism.
Amrita is a wonderful elixir, and the interaction with it allows us to understand which elixirs and liquids can improve our body. Amrita helps us understand breathing as a way of nourishing the body with special types of energy. Amrita nutrition is a powerful tool for development. The production and consumption of amrita is associated with the Great alchemical work or the churning of the Milky Ocean – a special metaphysical process, both celestial and earthly in nature.
The celestial form is manifested when the space of the macrocosm produces energy for the nourishment of higher beings or deities. However, there is a class of beings in the Heavens (let’s call them demigods) who also need the denser, coarser amrita produced on Earth. Its energy is also needed by those who appear on Earth as they use it in order to reach higher forms of existence. This type of amrita can be obtained in more “earthly” fields.
The realization of the churning process requires certain special conditions, which are described in legend as the struggle of the asuras (who possess the life force of the Earth) with the devas (who possess the life force of Heaven). In today’s practices, this is reflected in the overall technological process that imposes certain requirements on the place, time, knowledge and, of course, on the availability of a certain quality of mind, capable of representing the highest forms of energy on Earth.
A person who possesses these necessary qualities is a laboratory for creating amrita. This idea can help us to understand the tasks and possibilities of the huge Mayan structures, the Egyptian pyramids, and, of course, of Angkor Wat; it can also teach us how to use places where the Sky is close to the Earth (Polyneysia). Yet what is most important is the ability to consume amrita and realize its potential in our space.
Many cultures, from the Mayan to the Celtic, fulfil the laws of Heaven on Earth. Of those closer to us in time, we can name the Tibetans, Incas, and, of course, the Khmers and Maoris, who can be considered representatives of the alchemical cultures – alchemists who are constantly participating in the process of fermentation, of churning space. And if this is so, then all their wars and militancy should be considered as an element of this process of churning space.
So, churning the Ocean of Milk is the process of obtaining amrita, a special immortal drink associated with the breath. According to this special concept, air is a drink that must be properly drunk or inhaled. Note that this is different from the notion of the Greek ambrosia (associated with the process of mineralization and absorption by the whole body) or soma (which is just a liquid, a drink).
Amrita has its own quality criteria. We have inherited descriptions for nine different nectars and their consumption is linked to the varying capabilities of the alchemist’s brain.
