Alchemy of Brain. Alchemy of Runes
For the ancient Scandinavians losing the attunement of one’s brain was equal to death. At the early stage of development of Scandinavian culture, its representatives were not so much concerned with what would happen after life on Earth, but with their connection with the other world during life. The myriad of myths and legends about the world of the dead and the afterlife was associated with the Scandinavians’ present experience of this world and with certain states that determined their connection with different worlds. This connection can be perceived as Runic script. In general, there are twelve runic minds associated with the runes, and nine efforts of conscious penetration.
The runic script, actually, works like a neural network forming a certain sequence, which is based on the creation of links within the brain. It may seem strange, but all Viking battles are battles for the brain. Scandinavians believed that a person with a limited or closed mind had a brain which was not attuned to higher vibrations. He was defined as having the consciousness of Hel, the ruler of Helheim – the world of the dead, or the consciousness of the river Elivagar, whose poisonous waters were covered with ice – that is, such a brain was perceived as frozen.
Helheim’s consciousness is rather dark, therefore the path towards freeing oneself from the prison of stagnation, from closure and the power of the uncontrolled mind, was considered crucial. The uncontrolled mind results from having an uncoordinated mind. It can simply be hidden from the owner, since he does not perceive the place in the brain that activates the impulses and remains a hidden place.
This type of place is also defined as the Kingdom of eternal cold and fog, Niflheimr, associated with the inner inability to perceive, or Muspelheim, the inability to perceive from the outside. In such a state, the mind cannot endure – it falls into the abyss. Note that there are certain sources that also accumulate energy or energy flows.
When turning to runes, we must first of all form inside of us the so-called Runic thinking – this is a type of thinking that perceives the rune as a three-dimensional symbol. Each symbol is self-sufficient and is defined as a rune of the First Order. A mirrored rune, or one that is reflected by another rune, is a Second Order rune.
This brings us to irrational thinking, or the region of Utgarðar, where the degree of persistence of what we call rational thinking, or the region of Miðgarðr, is vital. That is, a lot depends on how connected or disconnected our brain is in perceiving the higher vibrations. This disconnectedness may be the result not only of our personal state, but also of the world around us. However, the higher world also depends on the degree of penetration, otherwise it is also considered as ungrouped, simply a large volume, associated with the giant Jötunn.
Therefore, the organization of the mind, which runs like a red line throughout Scandinavian mythology, determines whether we can perceive the meaning and essence of the Single mind, also known as the Runic mind, or the mind of Óðinn. The mental resource of runic alchemy is also worth mentioning. The squabble of Loki, the speeches of Vafþrúðnir, the honey of poetry and other images of German-Scandinavian mythology were the guardians of ancient wisdom, namely a way of interacting with one’s mind, and the highest form of these was the Runic force, in tune with Devanagari, the ancient script (used to record Sanskrit), the sound of which activates internally the brain and influences the formation of the mind; and what is interesting here is that the sound is attached to the image of the symbol. Otherwise, sound may lead our efforts astray, and we may get many Jötunn influences, which will lead us further and further from the understanding of Ymir, or the first animate space, subject to its own law of energy generation.
With the development of the mind and the activation of the brain, thinking becomes conscious, which is usually perceived as the Thinking of Odin, or united, or linked with the thinking of his brothers Vilje and Vé, typically formed through the efforts of Thor. This correlates with the tasks and the ability to carve runes, that is, to put the right effort into them.
Each rune requires the formation of a specific geometry in the body and this shapes the whole science of Runic Yoga, which allows us to design the proportions in the brain. This yoga can also be called the yoga of the Nibelungs, the guardians of an ancient kind of consciousness, which began to be perceived as a treasure. This mind is capable of perceiving the clouds of Asgard, of permeating the firmament of Midgard and preserving itself even in the form of Hel.
